Everything about Knowsley Street Railway Station totally explained

Knowsley Street Station is a former railway station in Bury. Originally opened by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, services originally ran east to Heywood and Rochdale and west to Bolton. The line and station was closed in the 1970s as part of continuing cutbacks in British Rail services. There is no physical trace of the station buildings.
